Journeyman Lineman Certification: In Addition To Completing An Apprenticeship Program, A Journeyman Lineman Must Also Obtain A Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers (Ibew), To Demonstrate Their Proficiency In The Trade.

Valid Cdl And Class A Driver's License: A Journeyman Lineman Is Required To Operate Various Types Of Heavy Equipment And Vehicles, Including Bucket Trucks And Digger Derricks. Therefore, A Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) And Class A Driver's License Are Necessary Qualifications For The Job.
