Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical distribution and transmission systems.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and lines.
Operate various tools and equipment necessary for the job, including bucket trucks and hand tools.
Work safely and follow all company and industry safety regulations and protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Continuously monitor and report any potential hazards or issues with equipment or lines.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with customers and the general public.
Attend and participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance and punctuality.
Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Travel to various job sites and work flexible hours as needed.
Assist in training and mentoring junior lineworkers.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications

Completion Of A Recognized Journey Lineworker Apprenticeship Program Or Equivalent Training And Experience.
Minimum Of 4 Years Of Experience As A Journey Lineworker With A Utility Company, Preferably In A Transmission Or Distribution System.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Safety Protocols, Procedures, And Regulations Related To Working On Electrical Systems.
Ability To Read And Interpret Electrical System Maps, Diagrams, And Schematics.
Possession Of A Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Air Brake And Tanker Endorsements And A Clean Driving Record.
