
Human Resources Business Partner
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join the team at Pacific Gas and Electric. This role is an exciting opportunity for a strategic HR professional to provide critical support to our business, with a focus on developing and executing our people strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR and a track record of success partnering with business leaders in a highly complex environment.To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of five years' HR experience in a corporate environment, preferably in a matrixed organization. You must have a track record of developing and executing successful HR strategies, driving organizational change, and managing multiple priorities. In addition, you must be highly organized, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to quickly build trust with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies in partnership with business leaders, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Manage multiple projects/priorities and provide guidance to ensure successful completion.
- Build trust and strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Advise business leaders on HR best practices and provide support on employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement programs to support employee engagement and retention.
- Lead organizational change initiatives, including staffing and restructuring.
- Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR strategies and implement improvements as needed.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including the design of job descriptions and interviewing candidates.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on HR policies and procedures.
