Job Description

As Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) continues to pursue our mission of providing safe, reliable, affordable and clean energy to our customers, we are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to be part of our team. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice and expertise to business leaders, manage the HR relationship with assigned business client groups, and ensure that human resources initiatives advance the organization's business objectives. The ideal candidate should have an ability to understand the business and be a strategic partner, a strong customer service orientation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic advice and expertise to business leaders to advance the organization's objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned business client groups.
  3. Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  4. Facilitate communication between employees and management.
  5. Implement HR initiatives that support organizational goals.
  6. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
  8. Monitor performance of employees and provide coaching and feedback.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
