Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner at Pacific Gas and Electric is a key role for our organization. We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a passion for driving results and making a positive impact on our team. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the executive team to develop and support a wide variety of HR initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success, with expertise in organizational development, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and compliance. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement organizational strategies, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the executive team.
  2. Lead recruitment initiatives, including sourcing potential candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  3. Develop compensation strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  4. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee relations issues and conducting investigations as needed.
  5. Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations and ensure the organization’s policies and procedures are up to date.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HR policies and procedures.
  7. Track and analyze HR metrics to ensure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and recommend improvements.
  8. Maintain a current knowledge of HR best practices and stay abreast of industry trends.
