The GIS Specialist opportunity at Pacific Gas and Electric is an exciting chance to join a team of professionals dedicated to making an impact in the energy industry through the power of geographic information systems (GIS). As a GIS Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of GIS solutions to support our business operations. We are looking for someone with a passion for GIS data management and analysis and the technical aptitude to operate and develop GIS applications. To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a GIS-related field and have at least two years of experience with GIS software tools such as ESRI’s ArcGIS and ArcSDE. Additionally, we are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, strong written and oral communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement GIS solutions to support Pacific Gas and Electric's business operations.
Manage and analyze GIS data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Operate and develop GIS applications utilizing ESRI's ArcGIS and ArcSDE.
Utilize excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot GIS-related issues.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide technical support.
Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Stay up to date on the latest GIS technology and trends.
