Job Description

We are looking for an experienced GIS Specialist to join Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E). As a GIS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing GIS applications and data to support PG&E’s operations. You must possess strong technical skills and be an expert in GIS technology. You should have a good understanding of PG&E’s business and be able to develop solutions to meet PG&E’s needs. We are seeking a motivated individual who can effectively work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other departments.To be successful as a GIS Specialist at PG&E, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related field. You must have a minimum of three years of experience working with GIS applications and databases. A strong background in software development, scripting, and database management is essential. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Responsibilities:
