Provide exceptional customer service to all gas service customers by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues.
Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and concerns related to natural gas service.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of gas service regulations and safety procedures to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to customers.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and resolutions in company databases.
Collaborate with internal departments such as billing, maintenance, and engineering to ensure timely and efficient service to customers.
Proactively identify and report any potential service issues or safety hazards to the appropriate departments.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while communicating with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure compliance and ethical conduct.
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.

Knowledge Of Gas Distribution Systems: A Gas Service Representative Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Natural Gas Distribution Systems, Including Pipelines, Meters, And Other Equipment Used In The Delivery Of Gas To Customers.
Communication Skills: As A Representative Of Pacific Gas And Electric, Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Coworkers, And Other Stakeholders In A Professional And Informative Manner.
Technical Expertise: A Gas Service Representative Should Have A Strong Technical Background, With Knowledge Of Gas Service Equipment, Safety Protocols, And Troubleshooting Techniques. This Will Enable Them To Respond To Customer Inquiries And Service Requests Effectively.
Customer Service Experience: Pacific Gas And Electric Values Exceptional Customer Service, And A Gas Service Representative Should Possess Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role. This Includes The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Provide Satisfactory Solutions To Customer Concerns.
