
Fleet Maintenance Supervisor
At Pacific Gas and Electric, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a successful history of managing complex fleet maintenance operations and a proven track record of achieving positive results. As the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance of the company's fleet of vehicles, striving to promote safety and reliability while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures. You must also have a valid driver's license and experience using computerized fleet maintenance management systems. Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of maintenance personnel and ensure that fleet maintenance operations run efficiently and effectively.
- Develop, implement, and monitor fleet maintenance policies and procedures in order to ensure safety and reliability.
- Monitor fleet maintenance costs and report on budget variances.
- Perform regular maintenance inspections and confirm that all fleet vehicles are compliant with safety regulations.
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and coordinate required repairs with vendors.
- Monitor fleet performance and keep accurate records of preventative maintenance.
- Manage and update fleet related software systems.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
- Train and mentor new maintenance personnel.
- Maintain valid driver's license and stay up to date with new industry trends and regulations.
