  1. Develop and implement safety programs and protocols to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the field.
  3. Train and educate employees and contractors on safety procedures and best practices.
  4. Investigate and report on any safety incidents or near misses, and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives and improvements.
  6. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on safety regulations and best practices.
  8. Provide guidance and support to field personnel on safety-related issues.
  9. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies on safety matters.
  10. Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in safety technology and practices.
  11. Lead and facilitate safety meetings and trainings.
  12. Foster a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  13. Communicate safety performance and progress to management and stakeholders.
  14. Mentor and coach other safety professionals and team members.
  15. Contribute to the development and revision of safety policies and procedures.
  16. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure their compliance with safety regulations.
  17. Monitor and track safety-related expenses and budgets.
  18. Participate in emergency response and crisis management activities.
  19. Conduct research and stay informed on emerging safety issues and regulations.
  20. Serve as an ambassador for the company's safety values and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety, Environmental Health And Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Field Safety Role, Preferably In The Utility Or Energy Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety Regulations And Standards.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety Programs And Conducting Safety Trainings.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Safety Policies And Procedures To Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.
