Job Description

Do you have a passion for understanding and protecting the environment? Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) is looking for an Environmental Scientist to join its team in supporting the Company’s commitment to sustainability and conservation. In this role, you will conduct environmental studies and assessments, evaluate potential impacts from operational activities, and recommend solutions to mitigate impacts to the environment. The ideal candidate should have a background in environmental science, a commitment to sustainability, and excellent problem solving skills. Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental studies and assessments to evaluate potential impacts from operational activities.
Analyze data collected from environmental studies and assessments.
Make recommendations to mitigate environmental impacts from operational activities.
Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures.
Monitor and report on environmental compliance activities.
Prepare environmental reports and presentations.
Research new technologies for use in environmental protection.
Advise on environmental regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement sustainable solutions.
Stay up to date on environmental laws, regulations, and policy.

Job Qualifications
