Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Environmental Scientist to join the Pacific Gas and Electric team! In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring environmental conditions, developing environmental impact assessments, and performing other tasks related to the protection of our environment. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the environment. A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required for this role. Responsibilities:

Monitor environmental conditions and collect data for analysis.
Develop environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
Evaluate potential environmental risks and mitigation strategies.
Develop and implement environmental protection plans.
Provide technical advice and guidance on environmental issues.
Prepare reports and presentations on environmental conditions.
Maintain records and documents related to environmental protection.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Participate in public meetings and other outreach efforts to promote environmental protection.
Stay up-to-date on environmental regulations and best practices.
