Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Environmental Scientist to join the Pacific Gas and Electric team! As a key member of our Environmental Science department, you will be responsible for helping to ensure our compliance with environmental regulations and developing strategies to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.To be successful in this role, you should have an advanced degree in environmental science or a related field and a strong understanding of environmental regulations. You should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. An understanding of GIS technology and experience working with a broad range of stakeholders is a plus.If you are a motivated and dedicated environmental scientist looking to make a difference in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Develop strategies to reduce the environmental impact of operations.
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations to management.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their environmental needs and concerns.
  • Monitor environmental performance and provide feedback.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry trends.
  • Utilize GIS technology to analyze data and develop models.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure successful implementation of environmental initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science Or A Related Field
