
Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced, committed and organized Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join the team at Pacific Gas and Electric. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Monitor and manage hazardous materials, including storage, handling, and disposal.
- Educate and train employees in safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Develop and maintain safety records and reports.
- Monitor and evaluate existing safety policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with current regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in safety committees and meetings.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team

Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
Or A Related Field
Health Science
