
Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator. This role is an integral part of our team, responsible for creating and implementing safety protocols and programs to ensure that all of our employees and customers work and live in a safe and secure environment.The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety and health regulations, and the ability to implement and enforce them. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for making a positive impact on our environment. The successful candidate should also have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field, and at least two years of relevant experience.If you have a strong drive to promote safety and health, and a commitment to protecting our environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities of the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator:
• Create and implement health and safety protocols and programs to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
• Develop and implement safety training programs and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.
• Monitor workplace activities to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain safety records and files.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and report findings.
• Respond to employee safety concerns and provide guidance on best practices.
• Develop and update emergency response plans.
• Provide training and guidance on safety protocols to new and existing staff.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate and resolve environmental health and safety complaints.
• Track and analyze safety data and develop appropriate recommendations.
• Stay up to date on current safety regulations and ensure compliance.
