
Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
Pacific Gas and Electric is looking for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs. • Inspect work areas, equipment, and processes to identify potential safety and health hazards. • Monitor hazardous materials and waste disposal activities and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Investigate incidents and injuries to identify root causes, corrective actions, and preventative measures. • Conduct safety and health training sessions for all employees. • Remain up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. • Prepare and maintain safety and health related records. • Monitor the performance of contractors to ensure safety and health compliance. • Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on safety and health topics. • Track safety and health performance metrics and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
