- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for electrical systems.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing electrical systems to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist in emergency response situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, to quickly restore service to our customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on maintenance activities and address any concerns or questions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical technology to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Electrical Systems: A Qualified Electrical Technician At Pacific Gas And Electric Must Have Comprehensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Electrical Systems, Including Wiring, Transformers, Motors, And Control Systems.
Technical Skills And Experience: The Job Requires A Strong Technical Background And Hands-On Experience In Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining Electrical Equipment And Systems.
Safety Training And Awareness: Pacific Gas And Electric Places A High Priority On Safety, And Therefore, Candidates Must Have Proper Safety Training And Be Aware Of Potential Hazards Associated With Working With Electricity.
