Job Description

At Pacific Gas and Electric, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a passion for innovation and problem-solving who is excited to help drive the future of energy in California. This individual should have a strong background in electrical engineering, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related field), with at least 5 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience with various electrical components and systems, as well as experience working with a wide variety of stakeholders is a plus. The ideal candidate should also have strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and the ability to think critically and solve complex problems. Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical components and systems to meet customer needs
Develop innovative solutions to electrical engineering challenges
Analyze and troubleshoot electrical components and systems
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders on electrical engineering projects
Monitor and maintain electrical systems and equipment
Develop and implement electrical engineering standards
Manage day-to-day operations of electrical engineering projects
Monitor and report on project progress
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
