Pacific Gas and Electric is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about developing and improving energy systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects that will have a significant impact on the future of our organization.This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and at least five years of experience in a professional engineering role. The candidate should also possess a valid professional engineering license. In addition, the candidate should have proficiency in engineering design software, such as AutoCAD and MATLAB.We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Develop energy systems and other related electrical systems. • Work on projects that will have a significant impact on the company. • Utilize engineering design software, such as AutoCAD and MATLAB, to create designs and simulations. • Communicate effectively with other departments and personnel. • Monitor and report project progress. • Utilize problem-solving skills and evaluate potential solutions to technical issues. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry products and trends. • Follow established safety standards and procedures. • Maintain valid professional engineering license.
