Dispatch Operator

The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with customers and fellow staff members and must possess excellent problem-solving skills.Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least two years of experience in a dispatch role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing outstanding customer service and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of computer systems and databases, with the ability to learn new programs quickly, is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from customers.
2. Assign appropriate personnel, equipment, and resources to address customer requests.
3. Monitor and track personnel, equipment, and resources for optimal utilization.
4. Provide accurate and timely updates to customers and other staff members.
5. Maintain communication with personnel in the field and provide assistance as needed.
6. Monitor progress of work and escalate issues as needed.
7. Document calls, personnel assignments, and other information in computer systems and databases.
8. Remain up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations.
9. Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are followed.
10. Provide excellent customer service at all times.
