Dispatch Operator

Pacific Gas and Electric is looking for an experienced, motivated Dispatch Operator to join our team. Responsibilities:

1. Receive and respond to customer service inquiries and emergency calls in a prompt and professional manner.
2. Monitor and update natural gas and electricity systems and infrastructure.
3. Dispatch personnel and resources to ensure efficient and safe delivery of services to customers.
4. Create and maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, customer requests, and system performance.
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of natural gas and electricity systems and industry regulations.
6. Utilize computers and mobile devices to assist in dispatching personnel and resources.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Stay current with new technologies and industry practices.
9. Develop and implement strategies to optimize service delivery.
10. Enforce safety regulations and procedures.
