Dispatch Operator

At Pacific Gas and Electric, we are seeking an experienced Dispatch Operator to join our team. This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.The Dispatch Operator will be the primary point of contact for customer service, and must possess a professional and friendly demeanor. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, in addition to a strong understanding of the local geography.We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who has a strong attention to detail and is comfortable working with different technologies. Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers via phone, email, and other means of communication.
2. Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
3. Receive and process orders from customers accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with customers at all times.
5. Monitor incoming calls and emails to ensure that customers are addressed in a timely manner.
6. Maintain and update customer records in the company's database.
7. Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with products and services.
8. Assist with the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
9. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local geography.
10. Utilize different technologies to efficiently complete tasks.
