Job Description

The Pacific Gas and Electric Company is looking for an enthusiastic, organized Demand Response Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and implementing demand response programs to help customers reduce energy consumption. As a Demand Response Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, helping to promote energy efficiency and conservation. To be successful in this role you should have a strong understanding of energy conservation, be proficient in customer relations, and have excellent organizational and communication skills. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about energy conservation and customer service. If you have a knack for problem solving and a commitment to helping customers reduce their energy consumption, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain demand response programs to help customers reduce energy consumption.
Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for energy savings and conservation.
Provide guidance and education to customers about energy conservation and demand response programs.
Develop customer relations and serve as a point of contact for customers.
Monitor energy usage and energy conservation programs.
Develop and implement strategies to promote energy efficiency.
Work with other company departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare reports and presentations on energy conservation initiatives.
Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of demand response programs.
Analyze market trends and regulations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
