Assist in maintaining and improving Pacific Gas and Electric's gas and electric infrastructure by providing support to the welding engineering team.
Conduct research and analysis to identify potential issues and areas for improvement in welding processes and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions for welding-related challenges.
Gain hands-on experience by assisting with the design, testing, and evaluation of welding equipment and materials.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards while performing welding tasks.
Document and maintain accurate records of welding projects, including progress reports and test results.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates and seek guidance on projects.
Stay updated on the latest welding techniques and technologies to make recommendations for process improvements.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding Pacific Gas and Electric's values of safety and reliability.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Welding Engineering Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Welding Processes, Techniques, And Equipment.
Experience With Autocad Or Other Computer-Aided Design Software.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Codes, Such As Asme And Aws.
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work In A Team Environment.
