- Utilize problem-solving skills and critical thinking to identify potential issues and develop innovative solutions to ensure the reliable and cost-effective operation of the transmission system.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the viability of proposed transmission projects and make recommendations to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in sustainable energy technology to continuously improve the transmission system.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and community organizations, to effectively communicate and coordinate projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze transmission system performance data, identify potential risks or issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and proposals to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure safe and compliant operations of the transmission system.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the transmission planning process to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert in transmission planning and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Represent the company in industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to promote and share best practices in sustainable energy and transmission planning.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Transmission Planning Or Related Field
Knowledge Of Power System Analysis Tools, Such As Pss/E Or Pscad
Familiarity With Nerc And Ferc Regulations And Compliance Requirements
Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Team Environment.
