
Line Cook
If you're passionate about food and have experience in the kitchen, we'd love to have you join the Outback Steakhouse team as a Line Cook! As a Line Cook, you'll be a key part of our kitchen crew, where you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with Outback's high standards.To be successful in this role, you'll need to have some prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, as well as excellent knife skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about food, and who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes that keep our customers coming back for more. Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook menu items according to Outback's high standards • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed • Maintain excellent knife skills and an understanding of proper food preparation techniques • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a consistent manner • Troubleshoot any kitchen issues that may arise • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and management
