RETAIL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Otiumberg is a British demi-fine jewellery brand founded in 2016 by sisters, Christie and Rosanna Wollenberg. The female-led brand has experienced considerable growth over the past few years and is looking to build up a diverse team of experienced individuals to scale the business to the next-level.

Job Description. As part of our retail team in the inaugural Otiumberg boutique, we are looking for motivated and passionate retail representatives to establish world-class service and drive success of our store. As retail sales representative you will be a customer facing representation of the brand, upholding our values and creating memorable client experiences.

As part of this role you will work closely with the Boutique manager to offer a personalised service to clients across styling and gifting requirements. Your service will extend beyond boutique visits, working to establish loyalty and repeat custom. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Boutique Manager to implement strategies to increase store sales and build a loyal clientele.

You will be responsible for interacting with clients both in the store and online via live chat, whatsapp and email. As part of this role you will support fulfilment operations of our dotcom. You will be working in a fast-paced and passionate team that always strives to exceed customer’s expectations bringing joy and connection.

Role Responsibilities – RETAIL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • Day to day boutique operations and sales
  • Process sales, refunds and exchanges.
  • Drive customer engagement and retention with first-class personalised communication and care.
  • Ensure stock is always polished and presented well
  • Attendance to the post/pre-opening time staff meetings to organise the boutique to ensure it is clean, stock is on hand and appointments are prepared for.
  • Front of house boutique surfaces and vitrines cleaned daily
  • Ensure boutique is secure and follows insurance requirements
  • Monitor store inventory and restock when required and managed correctly on our ERP system
  • Maintain the appearance of the store and work with the team to remerchandise seasonally
  • Achieve individual sales and KPI targets through delivering exceptional service to customers
  • Translate our brand identity with authenticity to clients in every interaction
  • Represent the voice of the customer in relevant forums, communicating their viewpoint and feedback to the team
  • Manage and diffuse any customer dissatisfaction with ease
  • Understand and response to non-verbal cues from clients to tailor their shopping experience
  • Offer styling and gifting advice to clients, encouraging a soft upsell with gift wrap, jewellery box and care kit
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and passion for Otiumberg values and vision
  • Build a loyal portfolio of existing and new customers with exceptional store experience, aftercare and surprise and delight.
  • Assist on occasion with customer events, including trunk shows, VIP appointments and Press and Influencer events
  • Assist in the planning and execution of bi-annual in-house sample sales
  • Assist with customer enquiries and concerns via daily communication across email, live chat and telephone
  • Process repairs to ensure issues are amended and resolved quickly and track any reoccurring product faults
  • Encourage customers to engage with our recycle and restore scheme
  • On-going education of our clients on the key tenants of the Otiumberg Responsibility programme.
  • Conduct any other ad hoc duties related to the business deemed necessary by the Management team
  • Be adaptable and flexible to changing business needs and display strong leadership skills by leading by example
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude and represent the brand and its core values

Experience & Skills

·      The ideal candidate has experience in retail and/or customer service ·      They are confident in a sales environment ·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills ·      Someone with a passion for jewellery and creating exception customer service ·      Team-player with a “can-do” spirit
