  1. Develop and implement data protection strategies to ensure the security and integrity of customer data.
  2. Design and implement secure data protection solutions, taking into account industry best practices and compliance regulations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential data protection risks and develop mitigation plans.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data protection technology to continuously improve our strategies and solutions.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and proactively address potential data breaches.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any data protection issues or incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Monitor and analyze data protection metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize data protection processes.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on data protection, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  9. Communicate with customers and stakeholders to understand their data protection needs and ensure their satisfaction with our services.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Computer Science Is Essential For A System Engineer, Data Protection Role At Oracle. A Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field Provides The Necessary Knowledge Of Programming Languages, Operating Systems, And Networking Protocols.

  • Experience In Data Protection And Security: A System Engineer, Data Protection Should Have Experience In Implementing Data Protection And Security Measures In A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Encryption, Access Controls, And Disaster Recovery Strategies.

  • Proficiency In Database Management: Oracle Is A Leading Provider Of Database Management Software, So A System Engineer, Data Protection Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Database Concepts And Experience In Managing And Securing Databases.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Computing: With The Increasing Adoption Of Cloud Computing, A System Engineer, Data Protection Should Have Experience In Designing And Implementing Data Protection Solutions For Cloud-Based Environments. Familiarity With Oracle Cloud Infrastructure And Other Cloud Platforms Is A Plus.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: A System Engineer, Data Protection Must Be Able To Troubleshoot Complex Issues And Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Stakeholders, And Clients. They Should Also Have The Ability To Adapt To New Technologies And Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment.
