- Lead the design strategy and vision for the user experience of Oracle products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to understand user needs and deliver intuitive and user-centric solutions.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design ideas and concepts.
- Utilize user-centered design principles to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all products.
- Mentor and guide junior designers in the team to elevate the overall design quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design, and apply them to enhance Oracle's products.
- Present design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.
- Advocate for the user and champion the importance of user experience in product development.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in design across different regions.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Continuously gather user feedback and data to improve and iterate on designs.
- Ensure adherence to branding guidelines and maintain consistency in design across all products.
- Act as a subject matter expert on UX design and provide guidance and recommendations to improve the overall user experience of Oracle products.
Extensive Experience In Ux Design: A Senior Principal Ux Designer At Oracle Must Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Designing User Interfaces For Complex Enterprise Software Applications. They Should Have A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Previous Work And Demonstrate A Thorough Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles.
Leadership Skills: As A Senior Principal Ux Designer, The Candidate Must Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Mentor And Guide Junior Designers. They Should Be Able To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Design Decisions In Collaboration With Product Managers, Engineers, And Other Stakeholders.
Deep Understanding Of User Research: To Be Successful In This Role, The Candidate Must Have A Deep Understanding Of User Research Methodologies And Be Able To Conduct User Interviews, Usability Testing, And Other Research Activities To Gather Insights And Inform Design Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Principal Ux Designer Must Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Design Ideas And Decisions To Various Stakeholders, Including Executives, Product Managers, And Engineers. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver High-Quality Designs.
Knowledge Of Design Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Design Tools Such As Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, And Prototyping Tools Like Invision Or Figma.
