  1. Manage and maintain the MAC environment for the organization, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Utilize expertise in MAC engineering to support and enhance the systems in place.
  3. Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure the MAC environment meets the needs of the organization.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise within the MAC environment.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the MAC environment and increase efficiency.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in MAC engineering and recommend any necessary updates or changes to the environment.
  7. Ensure the security and integrity of the MAC environment by implementing appropriate protocols and measures.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and other external parties to resolve any technical issues related to the MAC environment.
  9. Train and provide support to end-users on MAC systems and software.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation of the MAC environment, including configurations and procedures.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for any critical MAC issues.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the MAC environment and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in MAC engineering and incorporate them into the organization's environment.
  14. Work with management to develop and implement long-term strategies for the MAC environment that align with the organization's goals.
  15. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks related to the MAC environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Mac Operating Systems: A Senior Mac Engineer/Administrator At Oracle Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With Various Mac Operating Systems, Including Macos, Ios, And Ipados. This Includes The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues On These Platforms.

  • Proficiency With Mac Management Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Mac Management Tools Such As Jamf, Apple Configurator, And Munki. They Should Be Able To Use These Tools To Efficiently Deploy And Manage Mac Devices Within An Enterprise Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Networking And Security Protocols: A Senior Mac Engineer/Administrator Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Networking And Security Protocols, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, And Vpn. They Should Also Be Familiar With Security Best Practices And Be Able To Implement Them To Ensure The Safety Of Mac Devices And Data.

  • Experience With Scripting And Automation: The Role Of A Senior Mac Engineer/Administrator Involves Managing A Large Number Of Mac Devices And Ensuring Their Smooth Functioning. Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Bash, Python, And Applescript Is Crucial To Automate Routine Tasks And Streamline Processes.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Senior Mac Engineer/Administrator, One May Be Responsible For Leading Projects Related To Mac Device Management, Upgrades, And Migrations. Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Execute, And Deliver Projects Within Tight Deadlines, Are Necessary For This Role.
