  1. Design and develop cutting-edge software for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using the latest technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  3. Lead and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
  4. Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to enhance OCI's capabilities.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  6. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.
  7. Collaborate with product management to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  8. Drive innovation and propose new ideas to improve the performance and scalability of OCI.
  9. Ensure adherence to coding standards, software development methodologies, and best practices.
  10. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including management and other teams within Oracle.
  11. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides.
  12. Participate in the recruitment process for new team members, conducting technical interviews and providing input on hiring decisions.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Development: A Principal Software Engineer At Oracle Oci Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Including Designing, Coding, Testing, And Debugging Complex Software Systems.

  • Proficient In Programming Languages And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Advanced Proficiency In At Least One Programming Language, Such As Java, C++, Or Python, And Be Familiar With Various Technologies Such As Cloud Computing, Microservices, And Containerization.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Principal Software Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Software Developers. Therefore, They Should Have Proven Experience In Team Leadership, Mentoring, And Project Management.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Design And Architecture: A Principal Software Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Design Patterns, Architecture Principles, And Best Practices For Building Scalable, Highly Available, And Secure Applications For The Cloud.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Oci Is A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Principal Software Engineer Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Complex Technical Challenges And Deliver Innovative Solutions. They Should Also Be Able To Quickly Identify And Troubleshoot Issues In Production Environments.
