  1. Develop and maintain highly efficient and optimized database systems for Oracle.
  2. Design and implement database solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address database performance issues.
  4. Conduct regular database performance tuning and optimization to improve system efficiency and response time.
  5. Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
  6. Develop and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database development and optimization.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Mentor and train junior database developers on best practices and techniques.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
  11. Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to existing database systems and processes.
  12. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall database performance.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to resolve any database-related conflicts or challenges.
  14. Ensure all database systems are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Database Development: A Principal Database Developer/Kernel And Query Optimization Job At Oracle Requires A Deep Understanding Of Database Development, Including Data Modeling, Database Design, And Database Optimization Techniques.

  • Expertise In Database Management Systems: Candidates Should Possess A Strong Knowledge Of Database Management Systems, Such As Oracle Database, Microsoft Sql Server, Or Ibm Db2. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Various Operating Systems And Platforms.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: To Excel In This Role, Candidates Should Have Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Pl/Sql, Java, And C/C++. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages Like Python And Perl.
