Strong Technical Skills: A Principal Data Modeling Engineer At Oracle Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Modeling Techniques, Database Design, And Data Architecture. They Should Also Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java, As Well As Data Modeling Tools Like Erwin, Er/Studio, Or Visio.
Extensive Experience In Data Modeling: This Role Requires A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Data Modeling, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Implementing Complex Data Models For Large-Scale Enterprise Systems. Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Different Types Of Databases, Including Relational And Nosql Databases.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Data Modeling Engineer, One Must Have Strong Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor A Team Of Data Modelers. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Manage Projects, Set Timelines, And Deliver Results Within The Given Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Crucial For This Role. A Principal Data Modeling Engineer Must Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Architects, And Business Analysts.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Oracle Products: Oracle Is A Leading Provider Of Database Software, And A Principal Data Modeling Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Oracle's Data Management Products, Including Oracle Database, Oracle Sql Developer, And Oracle Data Modeler. Familiarity With Oracle's Cloud-Based Data Management Solutions, Such As Oracle Autonomous Database And Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Is Also Highly Desirable.
