As an Incident Response Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, responding to, and mitigating security incidents across our diverse portfolio of products and services.   1. Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential security incidents within the Oracle cloud computing and enterprise software environment.
  2. Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner, following established incident response procedures.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and mitigate security incidents, ensuring minimal impact to Oracle's products and services.
  4. Conduct detailed analysis of security incidents, including root cause analysis, to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
  5. Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures to ensure efficient and effective response to future incidents.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and proactively identify potential risks to Oracle's systems and infrastructure.
  7. Work closely with other security teams to implement and enhance security controls and measures to prevent future incidents.
  8. Provide regular reporting and updates on security incidents, including their impact and resolution, to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Participate in incident response exercises and simulations to test and improve incident response processes and procedures.
  10. Mentor and train junior incident response team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in responding to security incidents.
  11. Communicate with customers and external stakeholders regarding security incidents, ensuring transparency and maintaining customer trust.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on security incident response, providing guidance and recommendations to other teams within Oracle.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Incident Response, Cybersecurity, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network Security Concepts And Tools, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Vulnerability Assessment Tools.

  • Experience With Incident Response Processes And Procedures, Including Handling And Containing Security Incidents, Conducting Forensic Investigations, And Performing Threat Analysis.

  • Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Incident Handler (Gcih) Are Preferred.
