- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts to identify potential security incidents.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents to determine the root cause and impact.
- Develop and implement incident response strategies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate response and remediation of security incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify potential risks to Oracle's systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on incident response and security best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and their resolution.
- Participate in incident response drills and exercises to test and improve the effectiveness of our incident response plan.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a coordinated and effective response to security incidents.
- Continuously evaluate and improve incident response processes to enhance the overall security posture of Oracle.
- Train and educate employees on security awareness and best practices to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to incident response and cybersecurity.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Incident Response Or Cybersecurity.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Incident Response, Such As Nist And Sans.
Strong Understanding Of Network Security, Intrusion Detection, And Threat Intelligence.
Experience With Incident Response Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Edr, And Forensic Analysis Tools.
