As the Director of Network Reliability Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure our network remains highly available and resilient.   1. Lead and manage a team of network reliability engineers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful execution of projects and tasks.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to maintain the reliability and performance of the company's global network infrastructure.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve network-related issues and improve overall network performance.
  4. Monitor and analyze network traffic and performance data to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact customers.
  5. Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve network reliability and performance.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of network-related issues.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members to promote their professional growth and development.
  9. Collaborate with other directors and senior leaders to create and implement company-wide initiatives and strategies.
  10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network reliability and security.
  11. Communicate network performance and reliability metrics to senior leaders and stakeholders to provide visibility and inform decision-making.
  12. Develop and manage department budgets and resource allocations to support network reliability and performance goals.
  13. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the network reliability engineering team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Managing And Maintaining Large-Scale Networks: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Network Engineering, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Maintaining Complex Networks.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Protocols And Technologies: The Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Network Protocols Such As Tcp/Ip, Bgp, Mpls, And Experience With Implementing And Troubleshooting Technologies Like Sdn, Virtualization, And Cloud Networking.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Network Engineers And Collaborating With Other Teams. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate Their Team.

  • Ability To Develop And Implement Network Strategies: The Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Develop And Implement Network Strategies That Align With The Organization's Goals And Objectives. This Includes Identifying And Implementing New Technologies And Processes To Improve Network Reliability And Performance.

  • Relevant Certifications: Candidates With Industry Certifications Such As Ccie, Jncie, Or Equivalent Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Network Engineering Principles And Best Practices. These Certifications Also Showcase The Candidate's Commitment To Continuous Learning And Staying Updated On The Latest Technologies And Trends In The Industry.
