- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its requirements for software.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and implement software solutions that meet ADA compliance standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices related to accessibility and ensure that our software meets or exceeds these standards.
- Conduct thorough accessibility testing and identify and resolve any issues or barriers.
- Work closely with product teams to ensure that accessibility is considered at all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on accessibility-related matters.
- Participate in accessibility-focused training and workshops to continually enhance knowledge and skills.
- Act as a subject matter expert on accessibility for the company and provide guidance and advice as needed.
- Represent the company in accessibility-related forums and events.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the accessibility of our software and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as disability advocacy groups, to gather feedback and incorporate it into our accessibility efforts.
- Help drive a culture of accessibility and inclusivity within the company by promoting awareness and understanding among colleagues.
- Proactively identify and address potential accessibility issues and provide solutions to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide accessibility policies and standards.
- Actively participate in team meetings, project planning, and other company initiatives.
- Continuously learn and stay informed about new technologies and trends in the accessibility space.

Strong Understanding Of The Americans With Disabilities Act (Ada) And Its Requirements For Software And Technology.
Familiarity With Accessibility Guidelines And Standards Such As Wcag 2.0 And Section 508.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Javascript, And Html To Ensure Accessibility In Software Development.
Experience With Assistive Technologies And Screen Readers To Test And Ensure Accessibility Compliance.
