Sr. Facilities Mechanical-Process Piping Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Facilities Mechanical-Process Piping Engineer to join the team at NXP Semiconductors. As a Senior Facilities Mechanical-Process Piping Engineer, you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of complex engineering tasks related to process piping and mechanical systems. You will be expected to provide technical and project management guidance and support to other facility personnel. We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; at least 5 years of experience in a process piping and mechanical engineering role; and a working knowledge of relevant design and construction codes and standards. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of process piping and mechanical systems.
2. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the safe operation of mechanical and process piping systems.
3. Create project plans and manage the budget and timelines for mechanical and process piping projects.
4. Conduct inspections of process piping and mechanical systems to identify any potential issues and determine the best course of action.
5. Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation for mechanical and process piping systems.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to other facility personnel.
8. Follow safety protocols and comply with all applicable codes and regulations.
