- Lead the physical design team in the development of cutting-edge integrated circuits.
- Utilize expertise and knowledge of physical design principles to drive innovative and efficient solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop design strategies.
- Develop and implement physical design methodologies and flow for complex designs.
- Conduct detailed floor planning, place and route, and timing closure activities.
- Perform physical verification tasks including DRC, LVS, and ERC checks.
- Optimize design for power, performance, and area (PPA) targets.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to improve their technical skills and capabilities.
- Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into design processes.
- Collaborate with other design teams to ensure seamless integration of physical design with other design aspects.
- Ensure designs meet all functional and reliability requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
- Identify and troubleshoot any design issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality designs within the given timeframe.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and protocols.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and optimization.

Extensive Experience In Physical Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Physical Design, With A Strong Understanding Of The Entire Design Process, From Rtl To Gdsii.
Expertise In Cad Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Industry-Standard Eda Tools Such As Cadence, Synopsys, And Mentor Graphics, With A Deep Understanding Of Timing Closure, Power Optimization, And Physical Verification.
Leadership Skills: As A Senior Principal, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Qualities And Be Able To Lead A Team Of Physical Design Engineers To Successfully Deliver Complex Designs On Time And With High Quality.
