- Provide technical support to customers for NXP Semiconductors' MPU products.
- Drive the adoption of MPU products in the home electronics market.
- Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions using MPU products.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in microprocessor architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for promoting MPU products.
- Train and mentor junior FAEs on MPU products and customer support techniques.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of NXP's MPU products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MPU products.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to internal teams.
- Stay organized and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project progress.
- Represent NXP Semiconductors at industry events and trade shows to promote MPU products.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and support sales efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on NXP's product roadmap and communicate updates to customers.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks related to customer projects.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for on-site support and training.
- Continuously develop technical expertise and knowledge of NXP's MPU products to effectively support customers.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Microprocessor Architectures: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Microprocessor Architectures, Including Arm, X86, And Mips, And Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing, Implementing, And Troubleshooting Complex Microprocessor-Based Systems.
Strong Technical Background In Embedded Systems: A Senior Fae-Mpu Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Embedded Systems, Including Experience With Real-Time Operating Systems, Hardware/Software Integration, And Low-Level Programming.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Senior Fae, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Working Closely With Customers To Understand Their Technical Requirements And Provide Effective Solutions. Strong Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For Effectively Communicating Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences.
Previous Experience As A Field Application Engineer: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience As A Field Application Engineer, Preferably In The Semiconductor Industry. This Experience Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Driving Revenue Growth, Building Relationships With Key Customers, And Providing Technical Support And Training.
Ability To Work Independently And Remotely: This Role Is Home-Based On The East Coast, So The Candidate Should Be Self-Motivated And Able To Work Independently. They Should Also Have Experience Working Remotely And Be Comfortable Managing Their Time And Workload Effectively. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Open To Occasional Travel For Customer Meetings And Events.
