  1. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Lead a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  3. Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address equipment issues and implement improvement plans.
  5. Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in the semiconductor industry and provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
  6. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential problems to proactively address them.
  7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and spare parts inventory.
  8. Train new technicians on equipment maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  9. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.
  10. Work closely with the production team to ensure that equipment is maintained and serviced according to production schedules.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and managers to provide updates on equipment status and any issues that may arise.
  12. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary steps to prevent accidents.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly functioning.
  14. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  15. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
  16. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  17. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repair services.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Semiconductor Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Types Of Semiconductor Equipment, Including Vacuum Pumps, Gas Delivery Systems, And Chemical Handling Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Maintenance And Troubleshooting Procedures For These Machines.

  • Experience In Subfab Operations: This Position Requires A Candidate Who Has Prior Experience In Subfab Operations, Specifically In A Leadership Role. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing A Team And Coordinating Maintenance Activities In A Fast-Paced Semiconductor Manufacturing Environment.

  • Technical Expertise: A Semiconductor Maintenance Technician Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Read And Understand Technical Manuals And Schematics. They Should Also Have Experience In Using Various Diagnostic Tools And Software To Troubleshoot Equipment Issues.

  • Attention To Detail: Working With Delicate And Expensive Equipment Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. The Subfab Group Lead Must Be Meticulous In Their Work And Ensure That All Equipment Is Properly Maintained And Functioning At Optimal Levels.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Group Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Technicians And Coordinating With Other Departments. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Instructions And Provide Updates To Their Team And Superiors. They Should Also Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Motivate And Guide Their Team To Achieve Departmental Goals.
