  1. Develop and maintain embedded software libraries and stacks for cutting-edge technology.
  2. Collaborate with the software development team to design, implement, and test new features and enhancements.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in embedded systems.
  5. Contribute creative ideas to improve software development processes and products.
  6. Follow software development best practices and coding standards.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software projects.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  9. Learn and apply new technologies and programming languages as needed.
  10. Communicate project progress, issues, and roadblocks to the team and management.
  11. Attend training and development sessions to enhance software development skills.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Embedded Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Fundamentals Of Embedded Systems, Including Microcontrollers, Memory, And Peripherals.

  • Proficiency In C/C++ Programming: The Candidate Should Possess Advanced Knowledge Of C/C++ Programming Languages, As They Are The Primary Languages Used For Embedded Software Development.

  • Experience With Embedded Software Development Tools: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Development Tools Such As Compilers, Debuggers, And Integrated Development Environments (Ides) Commonly Used In Embedded Software Development.

  • Familiarity With Real-Time Operating Systems (Rtos): Knowledge Of Rtos Concepts And Experience With Rtos Development Is Highly Desirable For This Role, As Many Of Nxp's Embedded Systems Use Rtos.

  • Understanding Of Communication Protocols: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Communication Protocols Commonly Used In Embedded Systems, Such As Spi, I2C, Uart, And Can. Experience With Developing Communication Protocols Is A Plus.
