Job Description

NXP Semiconductors is seeking an Architecture Modeling Engineer who brings a mix of technical know-how and problem-solving savvy to the table. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a passion for finding creative solutions to complex problems.The Architecture Modeling Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining models for design verification, performance analysis, and architectural exploration. In addition to technical aptitude, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to producing high-quality results.Required qualifications for the Architecture Modeling Engineer position include: a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a minimum of 3 years of experience with architecture modeling tools; proficiency in C/C++ and at least one scripting language; and experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities of the Architecture Modeling Engineer:

  1. Develop and maintain models for design verification, performance analysis, and architectural exploration.
  2. Utilize C/C++ and scripting languages for model development and maintenance.
  3. Maintain proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  4. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify creative solutions to complex issues.
  5. Maintain excellent communication and organizational skills
  6. Work independently and responsibly to produce high-quality results.
  7. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  8. Monitor and track project progress.
  9. Troubleshoot and debug model development and maintenance issues.
