  • Develop and implement comprehensive verification methodologies for complex GPU designs
  • Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to define verification strategies and requirements
  • Design and develop testbenches, test cases, and automated scripts to verify functionality and performance of GPU designs
  • Execute and debug tests to identify and report design issues
  • Analyze and track coverage metrics to ensure thorough testing of all design features
  • Work closely with design and architecture teams to understand and debug design issues
  • Continuously improve and optimize verification processes and methodologies
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in verification techniques
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior verification engineers
  • Communicate progress and issues to project management and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the overall success of the SOC team and NVIDIA by delivering high-quality and reliable products.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Asic Design And Verification Methodologies: A Successful Verification Engineer At Nvidia Should Be Well-Versed In Industry-Standard Methodologies For Verification Of Complex System-On-Chip (Soc) Designs. This Includes Knowledge Of Languages Such As Systemverilog, Uvm, And Scripting Languages Like Perl And Python.

  • Experience With Industry-Standard Verification Tools: Nvidia Expects Its Verification Engineers To Have Hands-On Experience With Industry-Standard Verification Tools, Such As Mentor Graphics Questa, Cadence Incisive, And Synopsys Vcs. Familiarity With Formal Verification Tools Like Jaspergold Is Also Desirable.

  • Knowledge Of Soc Architectures And Ip Integration: A Verification Engineer At Nvidia Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Soc Architectures And The Integration Of Various Ip Blocks, Such As Processors, Memory Controllers, And Communication Interfaces. This Knowledge Is Critical For Identifying And Resolving Potential Design Conflicts And Performance Bottlenecks.

  • Experience With Debug And Coverage Analysis: The Ability To Debug Complex Issues And Analyze Verification Coverage Results Is A Key Skill For A Verification Engineer At Nvidia. Familiarity With Tools Like Verdi, Vc Spyglass, And Synopsys Coverpoint Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Member Of A Cross-Functional Team, A Verification Engineer At Nvidia Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. This Includes The Ability To Work Effectively With Design Engineers, Project Managers, And Other Stakeholders To Successfully Deliver High-Quality Verification Results.
