
Verification Engineer, Low Power

- Conduct verification activities for low power designs, including but not limited to functional verification, performance verification, and power analysis.
- Develop test plans, test benches, and test cases to verify functionality and performance of low power designs.
- Collaborate with design and architecture teams to understand design specifications and implement efficient verification strategies.
- Identify and debug design issues and work with cross-functional teams to find solutions.
- Utilize industry standard tools and methodologies for verification, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in low power design and verification.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of verification tasks, meeting project deadlines.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on verification progress.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements from a verification perspective.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in verification techniques and best practices.
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of verification methodologies and processes.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with team members and stakeholders.
- Adhere to company and industry standards for quality and accuracy in verification processes.

Experience In Low Power Design: A Verification Engineer At Nvidia Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Low Power Design Techniques And Methodologies, Including Power Gating, Clock Gating, And Voltage Scaling.
Proficiency In Industry Standard Tools: Candidates Should Be Proficient In Industry Standard Verification Tools Such As Synopsys Vcs, Cadence Incisive, And Mentor Graphics Questa, And Have Experience Using Low Power Verification Tools Such As Upf And Cpf.
Knowledge Of Systemverilog And Uvm: A Strong Understanding Of Systemverilog And Experience With Universal Verification Methodology (Uvm) Is Essential For A Verification Engineer At Nvidia, As These Are The Primary Languages And Methodologies Used For Verification.
Familiarity With Low Power Verification Flows: Candidates Should Have Experience With Low Power Verification Flows, Including Power Intent Specification, Low Power Simulation, And Low Power Coverage Closure.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A Verification Engineer At Nvidia Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Debug Complex Issues In A Timely Manner. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Perl, Python, Or Tcl, To Automate Tasks And Improve Overall Efficiency.
