Job Description

Are you an experienced System Software Engineer looking for a new challenge? NVIDIA is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team and help us build and maintain the software that powers our advanced hardware.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background, working knowledge of system software engineering, and a passion for delivering cutting edge technology solutions. You should have a deep understanding of software engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as your strong communication skills, will be essential to succeeding in this role.The System Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining system software for NVIDIA products. This includes low-level software components, such as device drivers, and high-level software components, such as operating system internals. You will also be responsible for debugging and optimizing system software for maximum performance.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field• 5+ years of experience developing system software• Experience in developing device drivers and operating system internals• Experience with debugging and performance optimization• Knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices• Ability to work independently and collaboratively• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain system software for NVIDIA products
  2. Design, debug, and optimize system software for maximum performance
  3. Develop low-level software components such as device drivers
  4. Develop high-level software components such as operating system internals
  5. Utilize software engineering principles and best practices
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system software engineering
  8. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful product delivery
  9. Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors
  10. Monitor trends in system software engineering and apply to product development
