Job Description

NVIDIA is looking for a Software Engineering Manager - Libraries to join our team and lead our library engineering efforts. We are looking for a dynamic leader who embraces the challenge of developing and maintaining high performance libraries and optimizing existing library features.The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and delivering sophisticated library projects and building libraries used across multiple products. They should be able to manage and mentor a team of engineers while providing technical guidance to optimize library performance.The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent problem solving abilities, and a passion for software engineering. They will have experience in working with cross-functional teams and a proven track record of successful library engineering projects.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field• 5+ years of software engineering experience• 3+ years of experience in library engineering• Experience with C++, Python, and/or CUDA• Proven track record of successful library engineering projects• Experience with cross-functional teams• Experience leading and mentoring software engineering teamsIf this opportunity sounds like the ideal role for you, we look forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain high performance libraries and optimize existing library features.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of software engineers.

  6. Lead library engineering projects to successful completion.
  7. Build libraries used across multiple products.
  8. Ensure projects are meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  9. Troubleshoot and debug complex software engineering issues.
  10. Stay up to date on the latest library engineering trends and best practices.
