Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles to join NVIDIA's growing team and help continue to push the boundaries of autonomous vehicle development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will be able to bring creative and innovative ideas to the table, and who has a passion for driving the future of transportation.The successful candidate will have strong software engineering skills and experience, with a solid understanding of computer vision, deep learning, controls systems, and robotics. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing highly reliable software solutions that will be deployed to autonomous vehicles, and will collaborate with other engineers and research scientists to ensure the highest possible quality standards.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience working in software engineering. Additionally, experience in the autonomous vehicle space, as well as experience in developing and testing real-time embedded systems, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop software solutions for autonomous vehicles that ensure reliability and quality
  2. Collaborate with research scientists and other engineers to ensure the highest standards for software development
  3. Utilize computer vision, deep learning, control systems, and robotics in software engineering
  4. Create innovative and creative ideas to improve autonomous vehicle development
  5. Develop and test real-time embedded systems
  6. Ensure software is stable and optimized for autonomous vehicles
  7. Develop software in accordance with safety and performance standards
  8. Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed
