Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PTX Compiler Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA and take our technology to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the PTX compiler and other related tools. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and advancing the state of the art in computer graphics and GPU computing.The ideal candidate will have experience in compiler design, implementation, and optimization with a strong background in computer science and engineering. They should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be excited to join a team of world-class engineers.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in compiler design and development• Expertise in C/C++ programming and low-level optimization techniques• Good understanding of computer architecture and assembly language• Good understanding of GPU architecture and parallel computing concepts• Experience in compilers for GPU architectures (e.g. NVIDIA CUDA, OpenCL, etc.) is strongly preferred• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop PTX compiler and other related tools.
  2. Optimize compiler for GPU architectures, such as NVIDIA CUDA and OpenCL.
  3. Design and implement compiler strategies for low-level optimization techniques.
  4. Analyze computer architecture and assembly language.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in GPU computing.
  6. Debug and troubleshoot compiler problems.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  8. Work collaboratively with software developers and other engineers.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation for the PTX compiler.
  10. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.

Compensation
