- Develop and implement product quality standards and processes to ensure the delivery of top-quality products to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential product quality issues during the design and development stages.
- Conduct thorough and rigorous product testing to identify and resolve any quality issues.
- Utilize statistical analysis and other quality tools to monitor and improve product quality.
- Develop and maintain product quality documentation and reports.
- Provide guidance and support to junior quality engineers in the team.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to product quality and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of materials and components used in the production process.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis for any quality issues and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
- Train and educate team members on product quality standards and best practices.
- Represent the company in customer meetings and communicate product quality updates and improvements.
- Continuously monitor and track product quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a mentor and coach to team members, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
- Work closely with other departments, such as R&D and supply chain, to ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Extensive Experience In Product Quality Engineering: A Senior Product Quality Engineer At Nvidia Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Product Quality Engineering, Preferably In The Technology Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Quality Assurance Processes And Methodologies.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Product Quality, Such As Iso 9001, Rohs, And Reach. They Should Be Able To Ensure That All Products Meet These Standards And Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Product Quality Engineer Should Be Proficient In Data Analysis And Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Identify Trends, Patterns, And Root Causes Of Quality Issues, And Develop Effective Solutions To Address Them.
Experience With Quality Assurance Tools And Techniques: The Candidate Should Have Experience With A Variety Of Quality Assurance Tools And Techniques, Such As Fmea, Six Sigma, And Statistical Process Control. They Should Also Be Familiar With Product Testing And Inspection Methods.
